On 17/10/2018, all delegates had a valuable chance to visit a the Sharefarm business model - a typical social start-up in Vietnam which is successful in applying technology in agricultural production. Mr. Hop Hoang - director of the Sharefarm - shared his story about establishment and development of the model as well as challenges and difficulties he is facing in start up journey. After then, the sight seeing trip were organized for international delegates to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Uncle Ho's Stilt house, ... as well as enjoy traditional cuisine and discover culture and history of Vietnam.
The day of 18 th October 2018 is a day-long training workshop conducted by Ms. Joey and Ms Kristine, showing us various concepts of product, branding and digital marketing. We were introduced with effective solutions on how to build a good brand and attractive slogan, design logo and brainstorm communication message. Throughout the workshop was teamwork activities in which international delegates were divided by three groups to discuss about branding for specific business ideas. Each group was successful in building a logo, slogan and marketing message. The video making techniques such as storyboard, film shooting ... were also delivered to participants, helping them in successfully creating a video for marketing their own business products.
On 19/10/2018, we had a chance to visit Ha Long Bay - an UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful natural wonder of Vietnam - and enjoy local specialties of Vietnam such as fresh spring roll, Pho noodle together with many outdoor activities such as kayaking, bamboo sightseeing...
The next two days - 20 and 21/10/2018, we participated in the workshop about start-up for young people. The trainer - Mr. Matjaz is an experienced expert on consulting and coaching young entrepreneurs in doing business. He stresses on how to create a brand and conduct prototype for business product.
After 8 days learning and experiencing, sharing and gaining, the project ended on 22 October 2018 with a lot of meaningful experience on business and cultural exchange. We express a sincere thanks to Mr. Miran - an inspiring leader who
takes care for everyone and shares wonderful knowledge and experience. We also are grateful to representatives from 6 countries who came to Vietnam and support to create the meaningful meeting.
We strongly believe and hope that the Globus project will continue to create a platform for social activists and start-up leaders all over the world to nurture friendship, exchange culture, business ideas and development solutions. We are looking forward to the next meeting which will be organized in The Philippines in the beginning of 2019.
