GB Final Bus and Earth Logo resizedGLOBUS project in project co-funded by EU Programme Erasmus+. It is KA2 action, Capacity building in the field of youth project. The project name GLOBUS comes from the combination of two words, Global and Business. The project in general follows two main aims.

    These are:

    • encouraging of the entrepreneurship among young people
    • capacity development of youth organizations and their members

To achieve desired results, we'll carry out several activities and cooperate with different stakeholders. One of the important stakeholders are policy makers in the field of entrepreneurship and employment of young people in each participating countr. With the activities for capacity building for the organization we wish to help youth organizations to become more developed, skilled and more self-sustainable in a way of financial independence.

There are six project partners from six different countries and three continents (Europe, Asia and South America). They come from Slovenia, Philippines, Vietnam, Maldives, Brazil and Singapore. The project partners were selected based on the experiences of the previous cooperation, based on their skills and experiences and according to their complimentary knowledge to the whole project. The project builds on the experiences of several previous projects done by project partners. The duration of the project is 24 months. It is expected that 120 young people and youth workers will be directly involved in the project activities and they will spend almost 1000 man days of activities. We believe that the project will have multiplicative effect by number five in the area of inclusion of people, organizations and other stakeholders.

The main activities in the project are going to be transnational meetings, which will be carried out in each participating country. These are seven or eight day events where we will carry out different activities on the topics of:

    • the developing of business ideas
    • capacity building of the organizations
    • digital marketing
    • good practice cases
    • networking
    • cooperation with policy makers

It is expected that in long term that the project will contribute to bigger entrepreneurship among young people, their increased employment and better social inclusion. We believe that participating organization will benefit through their increased capacity in order to become more self-sustainable.

The project also carry strong intercultural component which will be presented during every transnational meeting of the project.
